GRANTS PASS, OREGON — On June 30, 2024, at about 1952 hours, Grants Pass Police Officers and an OSP State Trooper responded to the 2500 block of New Hope Road for a shots fired call. There were no reported injuries despite multiple rounds being fired at an occupied car.

ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED PRIOR MENACING INCIDENT
Roseburg Police jailed a man Tuesday for an alleged prior menacing incident. An RPD report said officers contacted a victim at his residence in the 1300 block of Southeast Court Avenue on June 24th. The victim claimed that the 62-year-old suspect chased him out of the house with a kitchen knife while lunging the knife at him. The victim said he later held his bathroom door shut while the suspect stabbed the knife through the door at him. The victim told officers he thought the suspect was going to kill him.
