    Kids explore nature, paint rocks and more at Bays Mountain’s Kids at Bays Day

    KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL)—On Saturday, Bays Mountain Park hosted its annual ‘Kids at Bays Day,’ a day of fun and exploration.

    Kids at Bays Day invites children in the community to explore the outdoors and participate in activities throughout the park, such as yoga and rock painting .

    Children could adventure through all of the animal habitats, hiking and biking trails, or the Nature Center for a ‘Growth Ring Challenge.’ The event included an ‘Astronomy Day,’ a Mountain Bike Workshop and a ‘Make a Mountain Toy’ activity.

    Kids at Bays Day concluded with a chance to view the night sky from the observatory.
