SCOTT COUNTY, Miss. ( WJTV ) – The American Red Cross of Mississippi has teamed up with Lake Elementary School in Scott County to streamline recovery resources for storm victims.

The Red Cross Resource Center will open on Wednesday, April 17.

Organizers said the location will serve as a one-stop shop where families and individuals affected by recent storms can receive information related to recovery resources, emotional support, health and mental health services and referrals for additional services available in the community.

Open Daily: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Officials with the Red Cross said they’re committed to helping people affected by the April 10 storms for as long as help is needed. Anyone affected by storms needing disaster-related assistance can come to the Resource Center during operating hours, call 211 or call 1-800-RED CROSS.
