    Trumbull County home destroyed by fire

    LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – A home in Liberty Township was destroyed by a fire early Thursday morning.

    The Girard Fire Department says the call came in just before 3 a.m. in the 2500 block of 5th Avenue from someone nearby.

    When crews arrived, the house was fully involved and they used defense tactics to preserve nearby homes.

    It is unknown if anyone was home at the time or if there were any injuries.
