SALEM, Ohio (WKBN) — The fifth annual Grab a Bandana and Ride for Hannah poker run will take place Saturday at the Salem Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1524 to raise money for a Youngstown man in need.

The event started in 2020 after Salem woman Hannah Elizabeth Schnorrenberg died from complications following a motorcycle accident. It honors her memory and fundraises for others each year.

This year’s run will benefit Carson Colley, who lost his leg in a motorcycle crash. He has a passion for motorcycles and is working on healing and getting a prosthetic.

“It’s going to Carson Colley and his family. He was in a motorcycle accident, and he was ran into by another driver and had his leg amputated. So, we are helping out with him and his family this year,” said co-organizer Sierra Lucas.

The event will feature a haystack breakfast at 8 a.m., and kickstands go up at 11 a.m. There will also be a Chinese Auction and 50/50 tickets available. Barbecue dinner will be provided at 5:30, and drawings start at 6 p.m.

The run will stop at Youngstown Harley Davison, Leetonia Legion, Forest Lanes Lounge, and Whiskey Stop Bar & Grill.

Registration opens at 9 a.m., and the event will wrap up around 10 p.m. The cost is $15 per motorcycle and $7 for breakfast.
