Report: Motorcycle stolen from locked garage in Warren

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Police were called to investigate the reported theft of a motorcycle from a locked garage on Friday.

A woman called police around 6:45 p.m. to report that someone had taken her motorcycle from her garage in the 2900 block of E. Market Street. According to a police report, the garage was locked at the time of the theft, however, the keys were left in the motorcycle.

The woman told police that her 11-year-old son was at home at the time of the theft, and he heard a noise, but he thought it was just her returning home.

Police were working to find any surveillance video from the area.

The stolen motorcycle was a 2018 Kawasaki ER650 that was black and lime green in color, with a pink clutch handle, the report noted.
