Cows dress to impress at annual Canfield Fair contest

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) — Family and cows dressed in costumes at the Canfield Fair’s annual Dress a Cow Contest on Sunday.

Some costume themes included “Bluey,” “Scooby Doo” and superheroes. The winner was the Coppersmith family, who dressed as characters from “Monsters Inc.”

The family has a long history with the fair.

“I’m 19. I’ve done it every year we could. We skipped the one year because of Covid — we didn’t have a fair every year obviously, but we don’t miss a year,” said Alex Coppersmith.
