PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. ( WMBB ) – Pineapple Willy’s restaurant in Panama City Beach is again bringing back its “ Pay it Forward ” campaign from Monday, August 19th until Sunday, August 25th.

During the week the restaurant will donate 100% of their profits to nine different Bay County non-profit organizations.

Some of the organizations benefiting from this fundraiser include Beach Care Services, Lucky Puppy Rescue, and Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center.

Pineapple Willy’s has been paying it forward for over two decades, and they continue to do it due to the impact it has not only on the non-profits but the community as a whole.

“They do rely on funding and each organization, they each have their own mission, they all help out in different ways,” said Pineapple Willy’s Marketing Director Jared Knetzer. “To have the most impact on the community, we have to give back to as many as we can.”

Last year the restaurant raised over $150,000 and they are looking to exceed that number this year.

All you have to do to support these non-profits during the week is buy lunch, dinner, or take-out at the restaurant.

    Pineapple Willy’s is open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
