OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a drowning at James Lee Park in Destin on Saturday.

OCSO officials said a 40-year-old visitor drowned after apparently being swept out into the Gulf of Mexico by a rip current.
