    Bogue man charged in armed robbery over the weekend

    BEAUFORT, N.C. (WNCT) — On Tuesday, a man was arrested in Fayetteville and charged with three felonies. Devin Isaiah Brimmer, of Bogue, is being held at the Carteret County Detention Center under a $500,000 bond after carjacking a man.

    The victim reported that he was held at gunpoint and ordered out of the car by Brimmer on August 16, 2024 around 10 p.m. Brimmer allegedly robbed the victim of personal belongings and fled in the car. 911 was called after the victim ran to a nearby home to get help.

    Brimmer was charged with kidnapping, armed robbery and larceny of a motor vehicle.
