PAMLICO COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) — The new facility at Pamlico Christian Academy is offering more than just a bigger space.

School officials said it will empower students and enrich the community while expanding educational opportunities through new programs. Although fundraising is already underway, they still need help.

The school keeps a maximum of 16 students in each classroom. With enrollment increasing over the years, school officials are ready to unveil a new chapter.

“It’s a $4 million project, phase one, and we have raised about a third of it thus far. We’ve been blessed from God to raise about a third,” Pamlico Christian Academy Head of Schools Earl Sadler said. “And we’re just looking to continue to keep pushing on that and hopefully see some construction starting soon.”

The goal is to have the new facility completed through a 20-year plan. During that time, there’s going to be multiple opportunities to support the cause such as the Building the Future Fishing Tournament on Sept. 21.
