    Woodland Park Police searching for man accused of hitting store with car

    (WOODLAND PARK, Colo.) — The Woodland Park Police Department said a man drove his truck into the side of a convenience store and then left the scene. They are now asking the community for help identifying him.

    According to Woodland Park Police on Saturday, June 15 at around 12:30 p.m., a man allegedly drove his blue and white full-size truck of unknown make into the side of the Alta Convenience Store at 40 CO-67 near South Chestnut Street. The exterior wall was pushed into the store but there were no injuries reported. The man then allegedly left the scene without returning to provide documentation for the crash.

    Woodland Park Police are asking the community for help identifying the man. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lt. Hank Crist at (719) 687-9262.
