CLARKSVILLE, TN – Team Tennessee took 27 of their best female high school wrestlers to USA Wrestling’s National Freestyle Championships in Fargo, North Dakota July 13-14, also called the 2024 U.S. Marine Corps Junior and 16U Nationals. The event had over 8,000 entries this year, competing in Fargodome on the campus of North Dakota State University.

Austin Peay adds Samford, Morehead State to future football schedules
The Austin Peay Governors have added the Samford Bulldogs and Morehead State Eagles to their future football schedules, the school announced on Tuesday. Austin Peay and Samford will begin a home-and-home series at Fortera Stadium in Clarksville, Tenn., on Nov. 15, 2025. The series will conclude three seasons later when the Governors return the trip to face the Bulldogs at Pete Hanna Stadium in Homewood, Ala., on Sept. 16, 2028.
