Iowa State Swimming and Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors
AMES, Iowa – A trio of Iowa State divers have been selected as Second Team Scholar All-Americans as announced by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). Cyclone swimmer and divers were also one of 180 Division I women's teams to be selected for spring team honors after posting 3.73 GPA, the highest on record in program history. The spring 2024 semester also marks the 35th consecutive semester Iowa State has been a recipient of the team award.

Perry will have one last game before Regional play starts on Thursday. Tonight the Jayettes welcome Des Moines Hoover to town. Perry is looking to shake a two game losing streak. They may of found the perfect opponent against Hoover. The Huskies are 3-18 and have lost their last 8 games. The Jayettes come into the regular season finale 7-18. The offense struggled last week for Perry scoring just one run in the two losses. It would be great for Coach Lutterman’s club to find some offense before traveling to Denison on Thursday as playoffs begin.

ADM Softball Begins Postseason on Saturday
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Softball team is inching closer to postseason, which starts Saturday. The Tigers are currently on a nine-game winning streak sitting at 25-8 overall (13-2 inside the Raccoon River Conference), which is second to North Polk. ADM only played one game last week with a 9-5 victory over RRC opponent Gilbert on Monday. Friday’s scheduled game versus Ankeny Centennial was canceled due to weather.

Sioux City North rallies for 3 runs in 7th inning to earn split against Centennial
The Ankeny Centennial baseball team had to settle for a split on Saturday against visiting Sioux City North. After fifth-ranked Centennial posted a 5-0 victory in the opener of a non-conference doubleheader, the Stars rallied for three runs in the seventh inning to earn a 4-3 win in the second game that allowed them to avoid a sweep.
Panorama Baseball Season Comes To An End
The Panorama Panther baseball team battled hard, but unfortunately their season comes to an end as the Panthers fell to the Ankeny Christian Eagles 4-1. Panorama came out into Saturday’s contest with a fire, and quickly took a one point lead in the top of the first. The Panthers would hold the Eagles scoreless for a majority of the game, but would lose their grip on the lead as Ankeny Christian scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth. The Eagles would assure their victory and put the final nail in the Panther season’s coffin scoring their final run in the bottom of the sixth, to secure a 4-1 victory against Panorama.

Reminder: Memorial Golf Tournament Coming Up at Perry Golf & Country Club Tomorrow
A reminder that a traditional golf tournament will be happening tomorrow in the City of Perry. The Perry Golf & Country Club is inviting golfers out to the 11th Annual Memorial Golf Tournament beginning tomorrow morning. According to the country club, the official tee time starts at 7:30am, and participants are free to tee off anytime afterwards. The tournament features the Championship Flight that will play 27 holes, then the Senior Division, Super Senior Division, and all other flights will play 18 holes.
