    What's Up? Civil War History takes over Smithville, Party on Patio in Ashland

    Main Street Music! , 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, downtown Wooster. Main Street Music brings free live music entertainment to the pavilion at Wooster's Historic Downtown Square.     Party on the Patio , 6-9 p.m. Friday at Ashland Golf Club, 1333 Center St., Ashland. Rare Vintage Band will perform and The Grunt Grub food truck will be on hand along with a full service bar at Shank’s.

    Civil War History Day, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Smithville Community Historical Society and the Wayne County Civil War Round Table, at the society grounds, 381 Main St., Smithville. There will be Civil War-era re-enactors, exhibits and programs for children, as well as food, and live music. All buildings in the Pioneer Village and the Mishler Weaving Mill will be open. The event is free.

    History of the teddy bear, County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes, 1 p.m. Saturday, Shreve Presbyterian Church, 343 N. Market St. Free and open to the public. The guest speaker is Cherie Baer Graham of Dalton.

    Downtown Wooster Farmers' Market , 8 a.m.-noon, Saturday. Shop for the fresh produce, eggs, meat and poultry, honey, home-baked goods, fresh-cut flowers, wine tastings, artisanal crafts and more. Free concert from The Lovedays, a blend of bluegrass, country, folk and gospel, 9-11 a.m., at the Pavilion. A Time to Craft at 11 a.m. at the Pavilion will host a free tote-bag painting activity on a first-come, first-serve basis.     Sharon Showcase , 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, 5731 Ridge Road, Wadsworth. Performances by Art in Motion Dancers, Hearts for Music Special Needs orchestra and John Mayer Magic Show. There will be inflatable obstacle course, face-painting, free balloon animals and art workshops for the kids. More than 70 art and craft vendors, food trucks and beer/liquor vendors. Musical performances by John Husbands, Lee Miller Matsos and Julia Taylor in the afternoon. The evening concerts feature Wishgarden at 6 p.m. and the Swizzle Stick Band at 8 p.m.

    Civil War Roundtable , 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wayne County Historical Society schoolhouse, Wooster. The program will be presented by John C. Spaziani of South Carolina, who will portray H.L. Hunley, offering The Rest of the Story. The presentation includes a summary of the mission and an up close and personal look at the crew with their story of daring, love, intrigue, innovation and technology. A table for eight is $400. Goal is to round up the most rhinestones through challenges.
