    Trooper rescues kitten from busy Ohio highway

    (WKBN) – A trooper with the Canton post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol went above and beyond to rescue a kitten.

    A post shared a post on Facebook says Trooper Justin Smith was sent to look for an injured kitten spotted on the side of Interstate 77.

    Once he found the kitten, he gently picked it up and took it back to his cruiser.

    The kitten got immediate care from a veterinarian and is now up for adoption from the Stark County Humane Society.
