    Man dead in Winchester shooting, suspect flees

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after a shooting Wednesday on Winchester Road, police say.

    Police responded at 2:50 to a shooting at 1665 Winchester near Millbranch, at the Lit Junior store.

    One man was taken to Regional One in critical condition, but police later reported that he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

    Police said the person was not shot at the store, but ran there after the shooting.

    A male suspect fled in a blue sedan, police said.
