Body found near I-295 in Henrico, Virginia State Police investigating

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — At approximately 3 p.m., on Wednesday, July 10, Virginia State Police found a body of a deceased person located near the wood line near Interstate 295 and State Route 895 in Henrico County.

According to police the body was found in the grass 300 feet from the right shoulder near the wood line.

State police is currently working to confirm the identity of the individual and notify the next of kin. The circumstances of the death remain under investigation.
