Month of lane closures coming to three Richmond roadways

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A month of lane closures is coming to three Richmond roadways to allow for scheduled work.

According to the city’s Department of Public Works, the following portions of Richmond roads will see temporary daily lane closures from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. starting Wednesday, Aug. 28 and ending Saturday, Sept. 28:

Broad Rock Boulevard from Leake Avenue to Plainfield Road
Broad Rock Boulevard from Walmsley Boulevard to Pompey Springs
Belt Boulevard from Lordley Lane to Brander Street

According to the department, during working hours, a contractor will mill and overlay the streets.
