Man charged with reckless driving after flipping truck on I-85 in Dinwiddie

DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 36-year-old man has been charged with reckless driving after police said he rolled his truck after driving off of Interstate 85 in Dinwiddie County Tuesday afternoon.

According to Virginia State Police, at around 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 36-year-old Daniel J. Killborne was heading south on I-85 near Boydton Plank Road when he tried to change lanes, drove off the roadway and overcorrected.

Killborne lost control of his Chevrolet 2500 truck and struck a guardrail, causing the truck to overturn. According to police, Killbourne refused treatment at the scene and was charged with reckless driving.
