Great 8 Events: Richmond International Dance Festival and other events

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Looking for events happening this weekend? Good Morning Richmond Anchor, Delaney Hall, will bring you all the details on this episode of Great 8 Events.

This week Delaney highlighted the Richmond International Dance Festival, which will kick off this Saturday, Sept. 7, from noon to 6 p.m. at the The Steward School, located at 11600 Gayton Road. The event is free and family-friendly for all ages, but registration is required.

The Richmond International Dance Festival will feature performances — as well as the opportunity to learn dances — from several dance groups, representing cultures from various countries around the world.

Other events taking place this weekend are the Rivers & Roads Festival in Hopewell, Unicorn World at the Greater Convention Center, Kat Simons Tribute Concert at Westchester Commons and An Evening with Prince Tribute Concert at Dogwood Dell.
