SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – On Sunday, the counties of Chatham, Bryan and Effingham hosted a Tri-County Disaster Relief Drive where community members were able to donate or pick up supplies and enjoy some entertainment.

During the drive, dozens of volunteers distributed food, clothing, shoes, linen, bug repellent, candles, toiletries and other items to residents impacted by Tropical Storm Debby.

The event also featured numerous attractions that included food trucks, raffles for prizes, deejay services, bounce houses, a car/motorcycle show.

Flooding from Tropical Storm Debby left many families starting from scratch. The drive’s purpose was to help ease their burdens.

All proceeds from the drive will go towards rebuilding and helping families who were impacted by the recent flooding.
