$100,000 Powerball ticket sold in Clearfield, jackpot hits $800 million

CLEARFIELD, Pa. (WTAJ) — A lucky Powerball winner came out of Clearfield for Saturday night’s drawing.

The ticket was one of three $100,000 winners sold — along with another three $50,000 winners in Pennsylvania.

The $100,000 tickets were sold at:

• Walmart, 100 Supercenter Drive, Clearfield
• Goffs Suds & Soda, 560 Oak Avenue, Primos
• M&S Tobacco Corp, 3236 Route 940, Mount Pocono

All three retailers will get a $500 bonus for selling the ticket.

All three tickets matched four of the five balls and the Powerball. Without PowerPlay (2), they would have been worth $50,000.

More than 108,400 other Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets won prizes of various amounts in Saturday`s drawing, including three with $50,000, so be sure to check your numbers.

Powerball officials said $1 million winning tickets were sold in Florida, Texas, California, Indiana, and Washington.

The Powerball jackpot is now an estimated $800,000 for Monday’s drawing. Tuesday’s Mega Millions is worth an estimated $1.1 million — the 5th highest in Mega Millions history.
