Mayor Matt Pacifico and city officials invited students to Altoona Beauty School on Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a free haircut. They said they’re hoping for a great turnout.

The city teamed with the Altoona Beauty School, The PLW SR Memorial Foundation, and Kaitlyn Tomlinson of First Commonwealth Mortgage to launch this new initiative.
