The Oz Escape: An Interactive Experience is coming locally

WHEELING, W.Va. — The Oz Escape: An Interactive Experience is coming to Wheeling!

The magical world of Oz will fill the streets of downtown Wheeling in the form of an outdoor escape room-style experience.

Participants will use their phones to follow hidden clues, solve witty puzzles, and complete fun challenges as they walk around the city.

Based entirely on the original The Wonderful Wizard of Oz novel by L. Frank Baum, the experience follows the iconic team of misfits trying to escape from Oz before the wicked witch has her way.

Teams can play at their own pace or against the clock to compete with friends or hundreds of other teams.

There will also be a costume contest for participants who wish to dress like their favorite characters.

One team ticket will admit 2-6 adults and is free for kids. It is recommended for ages 8+ and is pet-friendly.

You can start the experience anytime between 10-4 p.m., which lasts for 90 minutes.
