    Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack reopens after flooding, racing still closed

    WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack has resumed operations Sunday after closing for this weekend’s flood on Friday.

    Its parent company Delaware North issued a press release saying that the slots, Sportsbook, table games and food court are all now open.

    Poker will resume on Wednesday, while the Sunday kiosk promotion will run until midnight tonight.

    General Manager Kim Florence says areas of the racetrack have been damaged in the flood, and Live Racing will reopen once they are resurfaced.

    The release also states that Lucky North Club guests will receive bonus offers in their email starting Wednesday.
