Moundsville, (W.Va) — The Marshall County Family Resource Network collaborated with the Mountaineer Foodbank to provide a mobile pantry for the Marshall County residents and for those in need.

The mobile pantry had a variety of items for people to take home such as bread, eggs, meat and vegetables.

Kimberli Green, executive director for the Marshall County FRN, says this was one of their largest events to date.

“We have enough food today for 230 cars, that’s the most we’ve ever done. We have been partnering with the Mountaineer Foodbank and this year alone we’re going to do six pantries which is the most we’ve ever done.”

The Marshall County FRN hopes to continue serving the community through events like these and help bring together local agencies to solve local problems.
