NWS SKYWARN Training in Belmont County

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) – An opportunity for residents of The Ohio Valley who may be interested in learning about the weather and also help The National Weather Service (NWS) Pittsburgh Office is present Tuesday, April 30th.

The class is being held at the Belmont County EMA Office for a SKYWARN Storm Spotter Training that will be conducted by the NWS.

SKYWARN Spotters are volunteers who help gather weather data at their homes, places of work, etc. and share that data with the NWS and local broadcast meteorologists. MORE DETAILS ON SKYWARN SPOTTERS HERE.
