Julie Gomez, executive director for NAMI, says it’s a great opportunity for people to check out the food trucks and receive information and resources from the different booths.

“It’s our second Wheeling Food Truck Festival and it’s all about bringing people together and the community together to raise awareness around mental health.”

“I think going table to table we’ve already talked to so many people today that just appreciate the awareness in learning who we are and learning who everyone else is.”

Heather Jones, vice president of clinical services at The Heath Plan, says these are more than just businesses. They are organizations eager to educate.

She says she is happy with the turnout and can’t wait to continue the festival for years to come.
