Moundsville (W.Va) — The Roller Derby, a local roller-skating rink, kicked off their grand opening today with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

People from all over the community came out to celebrate this fun filled, family-centered site.

Marcy Harler, owner of The Roller Derby, says this two-year build was one of the biggest projects she’s ever undertaken, but it was worth every penny.

“I think we just wanted somewhere safe, we have children of our own and there’s not a ton to do around here like this so we really just want a safe environment where kids can come, have fun, play arcade games, skate, get some good food, and have a good time.”
