WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — It’s a nearly century-old tradition here in the Friendly City.

Jamboree USA will bring another show to the Capitol Theatre stage this Saturday.

It features national and local musicians, but this time, it’s for a local cause.

A portion of proceeds from the show will go to Ignite Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing awareness and knowledge to combat the crime of human trafficking in the area.

Money raised will help fund scholarships for survivors of human trafficking.

We are so blessed in the Valley to have so many good people and bring us together. It’s just another example of community supporting each other. Please come out and Support Ignite Hope and Jamboree on Saturday. It’s a family show.”

    Stacy Gilson, Founder, Ignite Hope.

Ignite Hope is trying to lift those individuals who have been affected by human trafficking. So we hope to be part of that moving forward to help them gain a foothold here in the area to fight human trafficking.”

Dave Heath, President, Non -profit, Wheeling Jamboree

The national touring band Exile will be the headliner, while local favorites Jo-Ann Jones and Tristan Smith will also take the stage.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and tickets can be purchased in advance at the Wesbanco Arena Box Office.

They are also available online via e-tix, or you can call 304-233-4470.
