Wheeling, W.Va. (WTRF) – A Cleveland, Ohio man was sentenced to 151 months in Federal prison for taking part in a drug trafficking conspiracy in Ohio County.

28-year-old Solomon Eli Watters from Cleveland, Ohio was sentenced on Monday.

Wheeling Police originally stopped waters in February 2022. Officers seized $3,556 in cash and also found a .380 caliber Walther pistol that was reported stolen.

Police executed a search warrant at Waters’ residence in Wheeling where two more pistols, ammunition, digital scales and cocaine base were discovered.

Police then obtained search warrants for two storage units in Washington, PA, which uncovered 1.26 kilograms of fentanyl and $208,860 in cash.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Watters has a criminal history of drug possession, firearms violations, and aggravated assault.

He will have to serve 5 years of supervised release after his prison sentence.
