Man dies in Ohio Valley motorcycle crash

A man has died after a motorcycle crash in Ohio.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol say Trevor E. Berndt, 33 years old from Newcomerstown, Ohio, was killed on Edwards Ridge Road in Tuscarawas County.

State Police say Berndt was traveling on his Harley Davidson Road King southbound when he lost control going around a curve near the intersection of Crooked Creek Road.

Berndt overturned and slid off the left side of the road and struck a guardrail, according to police.

Berndt was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash according to police.

The crash remains under investigation.
