Eats and Beats Festival to be held at Wheeling Island Casino

Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack says they are having its third and final end-of-summer event after the success of its recent Independence Day Fun Festival and August Fun Festival.

The Casino will host its Eats and Beats Festival on Friday, Sept. 27, and Saturday, Sept 28 with the festival going from 3 pm-9 pm on Friday and 11 am to 9 pm Saturday.

The family-friendly free two-day fun festival is open to the public and features an array of activities, live music, delicious food, and more.

“Hosting this festival is our way of bringing the community together one last time for a day of fun and entertainment,” said Kimberly Florence, president and general manager of Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack. “We had an incredible turnout for our first two festivals and are thrilled to build on that success with even more activities and excitement. We look forward to welcoming everyone.

Here’s a list of the event highlights:

• Food Trucks : Indulge in a culinary adventure with over 10 food trucks offering a diverse selection of dishes from local favorites to classic American items.
• Fun Activities for All Ages : Enjoy a day packed with FREE carnival games, interactive experiences and entertainment suitable for all ages.
• Local Vendors : Discover offerings from various local vendors showcasing their crafts and products.
• Live Music : Get ready to groove to the sounds of FREE live music featuring an exciting lineup that includes national acts:

Friday, Sept. 27

3 p.m. – DJ Daner

5 p.m. – Matt VanFossen

7 p.m. – Eli and the Mojo Kings

· Saturday, Sept. 28

1 p.m. – Willie and Family Live Band

4 p.m. – Neon Union

7 p.m. – Moonshine Bandits

• Beer Gardens: Relax and unwind at our Bud Light beer gardens while enjoying the festivities.
• Live Racing: Experience the thrill of live racing starting at 1 p.m. each day, where guests can place bets and cheer for their favorites.

Eats and Beats FLAVORFEST

FLAVORFEST will be Saturday September 28 from 7 pm-10 pm in the Showroom at Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack. Tickets are available for $25 Presale or $40 the day of the festival.

Enjoy five different food and drink pairings from around the world, prepared by our very own Executive Chef John Greenwald and team. To top it off, desserts are included. Also, enjoy live music with Taylor Jo & The Copper Creek Band to heighten the experience
