Save the date for the Annual Crittenton Services Soup and Salad Luncheon

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — With the searing summer temperatures we’ve experienced over the past week, a hot bowl of soup might not be the first thing on your mind.

However, those who love the cooler weather can take heart, knowing that it’s not that far away.

One thing you definitely have to look forward to is the annual Crittenton Services Soup and Salad Luncheon.

This year, it will take place on Wednesday, November 6th, at the American Legion Banquet Hall in Elm Grove.

It will feature several of the area’s top chefs, who will serve their favorite soup recipes.

There will also be several salads and desserts on hand to make for the perfect lunchtime treat.

It runs from 12 to 2, so if people have an earlier lunch or maybe a later lunch it’s open to them as well. It’s also during the perfect time of year where it’s a little chilly and all you want to do is get a little cozy with some homemade soup.”

There will also be a basket raffle; those in attendance can vote for their favorite chef.
