SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Sullivan County will be celebrating Easter a little early this year.

Brown Baggers School Food Program will be having its annual Easter egg hunt on March 2. The event is free, and will be located on the courthouse square, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Ages from 0 to 11 are welcome, and will be divided into age groups. Those who attend can enjoy outdoor activities, games, food, and pictures with the Easter bunny.

Over $700 raised for Brown Baggers School Program

Project Director Kay Brewer says this will be an exciting event for the community.

“You’ve got to give back to your community,” Brewer said. “When they give so much and give from the heart you just have to. I mean it’s just the right thing to do. And you know we’re here for the kids.”

Brown Baggers is also having an Easter basket auction on its Facebook page. All money raised will go towards the school program.
