PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A local pumpkin has a creative cut for their corn maze this year, that serves a much bigger purpose.

Hobson Adventure Farms located in Parke County, officially opened for the season on Saturday. The farm has a variety of family-friendly activities such as kids slides, animals to feed, and even a corn maze.

This year, the corn maze is serving a bigger purpose with a new creative cut. The maze reads “SAY YES,” to promote the organization Donate Life and encourage individuals to sign up to become an organ donor.

Corey Hobson, owner of Hobson Adventure Farms says even in Parke County, organ donations has made a big difference to many.

“We’ve had four people that had been the recipient of an organ donation,” said Hobson. “Including the farmer that farms our families land.”
