HINTON, WV (WVNS) – Are you looking for a good old-fashioned bingo night?

The Summers County Council on Aging is hosting a bingo and raffle fundraiser on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Summers County Memorial Building.

Council on Aging Director Cindy Garrett told 59News the proceeds from this bingo will be used to help more people throughout the county.

“We are doing this event to raise money to purchase a hot-and-cold food truck, so that we can transport more meals to the seniors in the outskirts of our county. There are areas in the county that we cannot get our food to because the food will not maintain temperatures to keep them safe to deliver. When we get this hot and cold truck, we will be able to deliver the meals everywhere [in the county],” said Garrett.

Tickets can be picked up at the Council on Aging Center for $25 or you can pick them up at the bingo night for $30. It is $10 extra for the full package with most of the games that you can win the firearms.

You must be 18 or older to participate.
