    NY man arrested after investigation finds CSAM

    Bemus Point, NY ( WJET/WFXP )– A New York man is facing criminal charges with more possibly coming after an investigation by Chautauqua County authorities uncovered child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

    The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office has charged 35-year-old Isaiah C. Hitchcock of Bemus Point with one count each of promoting a sexual performance of a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child along with two counts of unlawful surveillance after an investigation.

    Members of the sheriff’s office and New York State Police first served an internet crimes against children search warrant on Hitchcock’s residence along North Nesmith Ave. on Aug. 8 and seized “a large quantity of evidence.”

    Police said they found images and videos of children performing sexual acts and returned the afternoon of Aug. 16 to arrest him.

    Three arrested after Chautauqua Co. raid Thursday morning

    Hitchcock was taken into the Chautauqua County Jail with police saying more charges could be filed as they continue to investigate.
