    $10 million lottery winner in Massachusetts plans to invest in child’s college fund

    ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WWLP) – Two lucky winners have claimed major lottery prizes in Massachusetts, with one taking home $1 million and another securing a staggering $10 million prize.

    $10 million lottery winner

    A trust from Wellesley has claimed the first $10 million prize from the new “$10,000,000 Bonanza” instant ticket game. The trustee accepted the prize, which also selected the cash option, receiving $6.5 million before taxes.

    He opted for the cash payout and received a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes. He plans to use his winnings to fund his daughter’s college education. The winning ticket was purchased at Mutual Mart, located at 19 Pleasant St. in Attleboro, which will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

    One lucky resident of Attleboro is the winner of a $1 million prize from the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Monopoly Doubler” $10 instant ticket game.

    The winner plans to build a new home and invest the remainder of their winnings. The winning ticket was bought at Coletti’s Market, 470 North Main St. in Raynham, which earned a $50,000 bonus for selling the lucky ticket.
