CHEYENNE — Local races for two state Senate districts and six House districts relevant to Laramie County voters received at least one Democratic write-in, according to Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee.

All nominated write-ins for statewide office races are sent to the Secretary of State’s office for verification. The office will then notify the person of the nomination once they’ve been verified as a qualified candidate, Lee said. That person has five days to accept the nomination, after which they must fill out a candidate form and pay an application fee.
