NFL futures: Here are favorites to lead in rushing yards by a rookie

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels has the second-best odds to lead rookies in rushing yards this season at +450, according to DraftKings.
There are high expectations placed on Jayden Daniels ahead of his rookie season, especially when it comes to how well he can run the ball on his own. But does that mean you should back him as this season's rookie rushing leader?
DraftKings is giving Daniels the second-best odds to lead rookies in rushing yards this season at +450. Here's a look at his competition to hit that marker.
Blake Corum, RB, Rams: +1100
The Michigan product played a big role in the Wolverines winning the college football title last winter. The question now is how his collegiate career will translate to pro ball.
Bleacher Report notes Corum's quickness and understanding of "manipulating the leverage of LBs." The real test for him could be how many opportunities he gets since he's RB2 on the depth chart ahead of the regular season.
Then again, Rams head coach Sean McVay also told FOX Sports he sees a lot of similarities between Corum and RB1 Kyren Williams. So maybe Corum will get enough work in this season to be a worthy lead rookie rusher at 11-1 odds.
Trey Benson, RB, Cardinals: +600
While all the attention is on rookie wideout Marvin Harrison Jr., Benson is gearing up to have a big rookie season of his own. There is potential for him to make his mark, too, since RB1 James Conner has never played a full season in his career.
The biggest things that could stop Benson from being the rookie rush yards leader this season are Conner returning to the strong form he was in to end the 2023 season -- provided that he stays healthy -- and the fact that Kyler Murray likes to run the ball himself.
The Cardinals had the fourth-most rushing yards per game in the league last season. How Benson fits into that scheme will certainly be interesting.
Jonathon Brooks, RB, Panthers: -120
The former Texas Longhorn is quick to punch his speed into high gear and has great maneuverability. Plus, he likely won't have too much competition for snaps since Carolina's RB1 is Chuba Hubbard.
That is, once he's healthy.
Brooks is still recovering from ACL surgery he had last November and isn't expected to play his first NFL game until Week 3 or 4. Head coach Dave Canales appears confident the rookie will be a big playmaker when he returns, saying Brooks "is a guy with a long career in front of him, somebody we think really high about, so we want to be really smart with him," via ESPN .
That being said, backing him at -120 to be the season's rookie rushing yards leader seems risky.
