Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Tyler Phillips.

After a three-day weekend, we're ready to get back on track in our Look of the Day series. Let's kick the week off with a winner by targeting our favorite first-five bet for Tuesday's MLB slate.

Look of the Day: Toronto Blue Jays -0.5 first 5 innings (+106 FanDuel )

Phillies at Blue Jays, 7:07 p.m. ET

The Blue Jays are hosting the Philadelphia Phillies in an interleague battle on Tuesday night, and we like Toronto to jump out to an early lead in this matchup.

Let's begin with the starting pitcher. The Phillies are rolling with Tyler Phillips, who just got called up from Triple-A this week. The right-hander was sent down to Lehigh Valley a few weeks ago after three abysmal starts in which he gave up 20 hits, 17 earned runs and five walks in 11.0 innings of work. He hasn't shown any signs of improvement since then, either. In two Triple-A starts after getting sent down, Phillips surrendered 12 hits, nine earned runs, four homers and six walks. Yikes.

The Blue Jays are equipped to take advantage of Phillips' recent struggles, as they have the third-highest wRC+ (138) and the fourth-highest OPS (.847) against righties over the last two weeks.

Toronto is going with Chris Bassitt, who's coming off a strong start against the Boston Red Sox in which he gave up only one earned run and racked up nine strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work. The Phillies are batting just .205 with a .151 ISO and an 80 wRC+ against righties over the last week, so Toronto has the hotter lineup and the better starting pitcher in this one.
