CEO of United Way Fresno and Madera Counties quits ‘to pursue other endeavors’

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The CEO of United Way Fresno and Madera Counties has left that position to “pursue other endeavors” serving Central Valley residents, according to the non-profit.

As of this week, Lindsay Fox has transitioned from president and CEO of United Way Fresno and Madera Counties following eight years in the position. It comes three years after Lindsay Fox (formerly Lindsay Callahan) received a state appointment to the California Volunteers Commission.

According to United Way Fresno and Madera Counties, the chapter was able to shift from addressing the needs of the Central Valley’s residents to having a more active role in trying to dismantle bigger structural and institutional issues.

Kyle B. Rahn has been chosen to be the group’s interim president and CEO while a search for a permanent replacement is underway.
