A wildfire burning along the Colorado River has forced authorities to begin evacuating people from nearby recreation areas on Thursday morning. The wildfire, dubbed the River Fire by fire officials, is located along the Colorado River, north of Yuma Foothill in the area near Laguna Dam, according to a social media post from the Bureau of Land Management at 11:10 a.m.
