The Indianapolis Colts won their preseason finale against the Cincinnati Bengals, finishing with a 2-1 record.

But it was a shaky night for quarterback Anthony Richardson and the Colts' starting offense. Richardson had his fair share of ups and downs throughout his time on the field, but that didn't stop him from having a good sense of humor after the game.

Richardson finished the game, completing eight of his fourteen pass attempts for 86 yards, one touchdown, a pick-6, and a lost fumble. When asked after the game about how he felt he played, he had an interesting way of looking at his interception in particular.

"Decent, I got two touchdowns, just joking."

    - Colts QB Anthony Richardson

What a legendary response by the Colts quarterback. Clearly, as he said, he was joking, although he wasn't wrong. He was directly responsible for two touchdowns on the day, one of which just so happened to be for the opposing team. I've always been a big believer that it's not your failures that define someone but how they respond after them.

Some may not like hearing Richardson joking about the interception, but I personally think it's always important to have a good sense of humor. You'd rather see your quarterback laugh it off and move on to the next play/game than see a quarterback beat himself up and let that one play live in his head for the foreseeable future. You want to have short-term memory as an NFL quarterback when it comes to plays like that. And it seems Richardson already has that down pat heading into his second season.
