The Indianapolis Colts are continuing to make the needed roster moves to get down to 53 players ahead of Tuesday's NFL deadline.

Their most recent move has the team waiving former UFL standout Levi Bell .

The Colts signed Bell on July 31st after training camp had already begun. He spent his three-year college career at Louisianna Tech and Texas State. He appeared in 25 games and recorded 93 total tackles, 21 tackles for loss, and 9.5 sacks.

He recorded five solo tackles during the preseason with the Colts. He honestly had an uphill battle to make the team, with their defensive line being one of their deepest position groups on the roster. So this decision by the team shouldn't come as a surprise.

Sources tell me that the Colts are interested in keeping Bell on their practice squad. However, before that can happen, he will have to clear waivers and potentially field offers from around the league.
