Cantaloupes go up in flames amid crash

MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- No injuries were reported after a semi-truck hauling produce overturned and burned late Monday evening in Midland County.

According to the Midland Fire Department, around 9:05 p.m. on August 26, firefighters responded to a crash near the eastbound exit of Big Spring Street at Interstate 20.

Investigators said no one was injured in the crash, but the trailer full of cantaloupes was a total loss.
