Man found in trailer following deadly Oneida County fire

VIENNA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Around 11 p.m. on Aug. 12, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was sent to a structure fire of a trailer on Mulholland Road, in the Town of Vienna.

At the scene, the fire was fully involved, according to police.

Once the fire was put out, first responders and deputies found a deceased man inside the residence.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. The name of the victim will be released when identification has been made.

Sheriff’s deputies were assisted on the scene by the North Bay, Vienna, Camden, Sylvan Beach, Cleveland Volunteer Fire Departments, and State Fire.
