    Albuquerque police arrest suspected Lego thieves at Uptown Target

    ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Police said they caught two shoplifters red-handed after they tried to steal Lego sets. The Albuquerque Police Department released video showing the suspects, Tehoma Patero and Lucas Chavez, at the Uptown Target last Thursday. They said they took around $700 worth of Legos without paying.

    Officers identified them as part of the recent tactical plan in that area. Police arrested both suspects shortly after. APD called Platero a repeat offender and said he had stolen around $5,000 worth of Lego sets in the last several months.
